Any questions?

Please contact sppacontactus@gov.scot if you have any questions on Annual Benefits Statements.

The Annual Benefit Statement is a record of the value of pension accrued up to 31st March 2020, it is not a forecast of projections. For that you should use the SPPAs Police Pension calculator.

Members should however bare in mind that following a successful challenge by the Judges and Firefighters almost all public pension schemes are being amended for those affected by the transition. A number of related consultations and challenges are also ongoing. It is difficult then to have any degree of certainty on these figures. The publication of this statement is however a statutory requirement and at this time is a reflection of the situation as at 31st March 2020.

SPF would however encourage any members who has doubts regarding the pension scheme to reflect on this document.
