An appeal to find elite riders to take part in a charity cycle for the Police Treatment Centres has been launched.
The Cycleogical Bike Ride, which is entering its second year, will see a team cycle from Harrogate, North Yorkshire, to Auchterader, Perthshire, on June 20 next year.
Officers from Police Scotland are being asked to come forward and join the team before the deadline on December 9, 2019.
The inaugural event last year saw 22 elite riders from 17 of the PTC’s constituent forces completing the epic 249 mile ride in an impressive 16 hours and 11 minutes.
The efforts managed to raise a staggering £32,057.08.
The PTC have seen an increasing number of police patients who need support with stress, anxiety and other conditions.
One in five of new patients now attend their Psychological Wellbeing Programme. Funds from the ride will support their hard work.
