Scots drivers ‘are the worst for speeding’
Scotland has been branded a nation of speed freaks as a report show it’s the worst place in the UK for speeding drivers. A staggering four out of five motorists in Edinburgh admit to breaking the speed limit. Glasgow is close behind the capital city, with 75 per cent of drivers saying that they knowingly exceed the maximum speed. Edinburgh tops the survey of UK speeding, with 81 per cent of its drivers saying they break the speed limit on a regular basis. This puts the city ahead of London (76 per cent) and its near neighbour Glasgow. Combined, the two cities make Scotland the worst area in the UK for speeding drivers.
